Re-route Project

“Whirling seeds” live

Musicians Ishtar Bakhtali (Vocals, compositions), Sjahin During (Percussion) and Bence Huszar (Cello) perform compositions and arrangements in which improvisation plays an important role. Influences from different musical traditions: raga (Indian Classical), Maqam, Jazz and electronics are audible in their music.

They follow a new Silk Route from Amsterdam to Madras, India. All compositions and arrangements are firmly rooted in the present while interpreting ancient traditions from the East in a personal way.
